Master of Education Management Student Becomes International Seminar Moderator

In implementing the 3rd ICELI 2021, the Master of Education Management (S2 MP UAD) study program involved many students, including parallel moderators. Three students were selected from several existing criteria, including English language skills and communication skills. There are Priska Fadhila, Beny Setiawan, Uswatun Hasanah Junaid, to accompany Dr. Achadi Budi Santosa.

According to Dr. Enung Hasanah as the chairman of the ICELI 2021 3rd committee, who is also the secretary of the MP UAD Masters Program, with students as moderators in ICELI, it shows that the quality of the MP UAD Masters students is tested. The study program also believes in the students’ abilities selected as moderators. It also makes it a valuable and new experience for students in activities while on campus.

Uswatun Hasanah Junaid said, “As a moderator, I feel proud to be a part of ICELI. I am glad to meet with speakers from national and international.” Continuing with what Uswatun said, “It such an honor experience to be a moderator of room 3 in ICELI because all presenter shows their best performance. I also earn much knowledge from a plenary session with all the incredible speakers. It gave me a motivation booster to get better after joining the conference. Thank you, ICELI.” Priska Fadhila Said

The initial capital to be a parallel moderator in this seminar is that the first language must be active. The second can arrange seminar participants consisting of students and teachers, both within and outside the country. Moreover, the activities carried out boldly via zoom support problems that arise, for example, the difficulty of participants in distributing presentation materials and others. The moderator must be ready to face the obstacles that exist and have assistance from the technical team. But with the ability of a good moderator, if there is a problem, don’t panic and can solve it.

There are 28 manuscripts presented, with 80 presenters consisting of authors and co-authors. They are divided into four rooms from that number, and each room has eight papers to present. In addition to the presenters, the room is also open for general participants of the 3rd ICELI who want to participate in parallel sessions.

Hope was conveyed by Beny Setiawan that newness, greatness (continuity), and awareness (aware) of the development of life education in the various sessions of the event that I participated in. Hopefully, ICELI will become the center of civilization in education and research, as a gathering place for the whole world in the context of enlightenment and the awakening of education that humanizes and enlightens.

The theme this year is “Post Pandemic Education Management in Facing a Smart Society 5.0.”
