The Graduate Program in Educational Management (S2) has been accredited “B” with SK BAN-PT No.1066/SK/BSN-PT/Akred/M/IV/2017.
The Study Program of Educational Management examines and prepares its graduates to be individuals who can manage educational institutions, especially in management at the middle and lower levels. In the future, the Study Program of Educational Management will explore leadership ideas, understandings, and practices, as well as local management in Indonesia at the middle and family level, which is reflected into ideas, theories, and practices to meet the demands of today’s education.

Key Competencies:
The graduates of the Graduate Program in Educational Management of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan must be able: to think holistically, comprehensively, and Islamically; to develop educational partnerships; to formulate education improvement strategies; to do research in the field of educational management; to communicate effectively; to have conceptual skills; to establish an interpersonal relationship; to participate in the organization and make an improvement for the organization; to delegate authority; to work in a team; to become a broadminded person; to have tolerance and respect the diversity; to think systematically; to analyze organizational behaviour and its context; to think critically, creatively, and innovatively; and, to evaluate policy and educational programs.
Supporting Competency:
The supporting competency of the graduates of the Graduate Program in Educational Management of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan is to produce researchers who are able: to analyze educational policies based on multicultural management; to analyze research-based education policies; to develop educational management based on local treasures; to master various technical skills; and, to write various forms of scientific articles.
Competencies of Lecturers
Lecturers of the Study Program of Educational Management must have the competence of Professors and Doctors according to their field of expertise. It includes various competencies in the philosophy of science and policy, comparative education, educational supervision, educational research, economic analysis of education, and theory and organizational behaviour. The lecturers are Prof. Suyata, Ph.D., Prof. Dr. Suharsimi Arikunto, Prof. Dr. Aliyah Rasyid Baswedan, Prof. Sarbiran, M.Ed., Ph.D., Dr. Suyatno, M.Pd.I., and others.
Laboratories of Educational Management
The laboratories are on and off the campus, used to research and review various Educational Best Practices. The educational laboratories become a forum to discuss the research process and research results.
Students Activities
Students of the Study Program of Educational Management participate in domestic and overseas activities, including research, social service, seminars, and discussion forums, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
Alumni
Alumni of the Study Program of Educational Management of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan are spread throughout Indonesia, China, and the Philippines.
