Lecturers and Students become Promapi Management
The role and existence of lecturers in education are limited to teaching on campus. Tri dharma college requires lecturers to teach, research and development, and community service. In addition, joining a professional organization will increase the role of lecturers in contributing their knowledge. Meeting with other university lecturers, apart from sharing, also adds to relationships and ultimately collaboration with each other, both in teaching, research and service.
In establishing relations, lecturers join various educational forums and associations. One of them is Promapi. Promapi is a Professional Association of Educational Managers and Administrators. The activities carried out are research, service, training, human resource development, and educational assistance. Located at the Papandayan Hotel Bandung(19/12/21), Promapi held the 1st national working meeting.
Dr. Dian Hidayati said that Promapi embraces all education administration and management graduates throughout Indonesia to join a professional association in education administration and management. The schedule determines the work program for each commission. Dr. Dian Hidayati is chairman of the Promapi B commission also a lecturer in Master of Education Management (S2 MP UAD). Commission B is in charge of education and professional development. Dr. Sukirman was present as an S2 MP UAD lecturer, as the treasurer of the Promapi DIY area, is joined in the D commission, which is in charge of the development and organizational development. In addition to lecturers, there are also Masters students from MP UAD who participated in this meeting, namely Putri Tobing as Chair of the Southeast Sulawesi region, joined in commission E in the field of communication and advocacy law, and Sri Indriani joined in commission A. research, development and community service.
