Study program orientation and the inaugural lecture of the first semester of 2020/2021
The inaugural lecture of the first semester of 2020/2021 activities was conducted online via ZOOM on September 28, 2020, opened by the Dean of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, and attended by the Head of Study Programs, secretary of the study program, Lecturers, education staff, and students of semester 1-4. It was conducted online due to the pandemic situation.
To begin the activity, Dr. Suyatno, M.Pd.I, the head of the study program, delivered an orientation lecture to 20 new students accepted this semester. The Head of Study Program emphasized that lectures must be on time. It was also conveyed about the publication of scientific articles to students as a graduation requirement. To the students of semesters 2-4, the Head of Study Program advised them to always remember to be on time in lectures. At the end of his speech, the Head of Study Program also introduced the Master of Education Management lecturers.
Furthermore, opening the 2020/2021 inaugural semester lectures was Dr. Trikinasih Handayani, M.Si, Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. The Dean said that starting this semester, the Master’s Degree Study Program will join the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education after joining the Postgraduate Program.
The inaugural lecture was delivered by Dr. Dian Hidayati, MM, with the theme “Digital Transformation to Achieve Student Well-Being,” guided by Dr. Fitri Nur Maheasy, M.Pd. Why was this theme chosen? This is also in accordance with the current situation during the pandemic. Teaching and learning activities are transforming from offline to online. Both teachers and students are required to always follow this transformation.
