MP UAD Student Becomes Best Presenter of 3rd ICELI 2021
“Alhamdulillah, The first time being an ICELI presenter was very exciting and stressful because you were not familiar with everyday language. Still, on the other hand, it became a challenge and a struggle that ICELI became a means to present research results in an unfamiliar language. Good Luck ICELI!.” said Ibnu Asakir
Above is the testimony of a Master of Education Management (S2 MP UAD) student who became one of the best presenters at the 3rd ICELI 2021. Ibnu usually called, presented a paper with the title “Rasch Model Analysis: Teacher Commitment Indicators by Experts Judgment”. As explained by ibn, Research is carried out by assessing experts (expert judgment). Rasch modeling is used for the analysis of questionnaire data. This type of research is quantitative research with survey methods. The study measured one variable, the commit. The characteristic aspects of respondents measured in this study are gender, the last level of education, institutions. The type of measurement scale used is the LIKERT rating scale, with four question options. The Rasch model can facilitate an expert accuracy check-in assessing instruments, thus achieving the objective, or appraiser-free, evaluation of items. The Rasch model contributes to the test developer’s understanding of the assessment process and provides additional quantitative support for the inclusion and removal of such instrument items.
Dr. Dian Hidayati as Ibnu’s supervisor added that the Rasch model is still rarely used as a measuring instrument, so that students are expected to use the model in research. Continued by Dr. Dian, student participation in ICELI is to gain experience and as a place to present research results. It is hoped that the research results will be helpful for many people and for the students themselves to get feedback from other participants.
